A couple of of weeks ago a group of aquarium gurus published a study measuring the flow of propeller type pumps. During their testing they published some dissapointing flow results for the Tunze pumps. Tunze has now come out with their own responce video:
Instead of trying to argue against the results of the study it appears that their argument is more aimed towards saying the type of flow that the tunze pumps produce is better. If you have a chance to watch the video I'd be interested to hear your opinions.
It is an interesting topic for sure. No one is claiming that Tunze's products are poor, just that they knowingly lied to consumers, which they did. Roger's damage control didn't help matters, and neither did their admittance of the hokie "testing methods" they used to determine their GPH. They simply should've said, 'yep we got our hands caught in the cookie jar, and we're going to fix it.' I don't know where the flow discussion turned into probing for lawsuits, but hopefully it doesn't get that far.
What a crock! I can understand some of the tunze owners being a little disappointed by the results of the test, but when you read the study tunze states that they were using a different method of testing to get their numbers. On top of that regardless of the study results tunze pumps are still GREAT pumps! I wonder how they are going to measure "damages" for their clients
?
Agreed, this is nothing more than an attempt by this law firm to attract unsuspecting Tunze owners into thinking there is reason for a class action lawsuit.
This "report" is actually nothing more than a press release sent out by the Lewis Firm. I say NAR should send out a news release that we are conducting an investigation of predatory practices conducted by law firms on the aquarium industry.
